On the 3rd February, 1931, in Bihar, India, Swami Jyotirmayananda was born.
In steadfast devotion to his guru, Shri Swami Sivananda, Swamiji taught Yoga and Vedanta.
His lectures included the scriptures of the Upanishads, Yoga Vasistha and Raja Yoga sutras.
Swamiji is now recognized as one of the spiritual leaders Integral Yoga - a balanced life through the four aspects of your personality...
Nearly all of Swamiji's book are translated into many languages.
Awaken to your Infinite Potential by integrating the four aspects of the human personality - Action, Emotion, Will Power, and Reason - through an artistically balanced practice of the four major Yogas: Karma, Bhakti, Raja, and Jnana.
Swami Jyotirmayananda moved to Miami, Florida in March 1969.
The Yoga Research Foundation was then created for the goal to share and disseminate the teachings of Yoga and Vedanta.
The foundation is also the spear head for ashrams in America but also in India, including for children.
