Aromatherapy For Anxiety Symptoms

Essential oils and aromatherapy for anxiety, depression, worry, overwhelm and mind stress relief can be used in three specific ways...

  1. topical - apply oils directly on the skin Please be aware of specific oils, like citrus
  2. digest - eat and drink. Always check, which oils are for digestion
  3. aromatherapy - breathe in

3 Ways Of Using Essential Oils

Topical - best to use a carrier oil, like coconut oil. I like to take a heaped tablespoon of the coconut oil and 5 to 10 drops of essential oil. Mix this formula up and massage into the skin, especially on the feet, back, neck and shoulders.

Digest - essential oils are very powerful and potent. Read the labels thoroughly before eating. My favorite oil to digest is lemon or grapefruit or sometimes lavender.

take 20 ounces of water, a squeeze or two of lemon. Sometimes I ad a mint leaf or a couple of drops of lavender. Stir and drink.

Aromatically - the easiest and quickest way to receive the benefits of aromatherapy and essential oils is to...

  1. take a drop or two of your chosen essential oil into the palm of your hand
  2. gently rub your hands together, bring your cupped hands up to your face and take steady, deep breathes for about one minute
