  1. Eyebrow - "I release and let it go"
  2. Temple - "I release and let it go"
  3. Cheek - "it's safe to let it go"
  4. Upper Chest - "just let it go"
  5. Wrist - hold one of your wrists or forearm
  6. Take a Deep Breath - when you exhale, say "peace" out loud
  7. Think of a time when you felt really peaceful

Emotional Freedom Tapping Technique Guided Imagery Script

I want you to think of a problem or issue.

Maybe it's something you are worried about or maybe you're always rushing around and feeling overwhelmed or maybe you feel anxiety or depressed.

When you have the problem or issue in your mind, ask yourself this question, "how do I know I have a problem?" Maybe you have a certain feeling in your body, for example.

Now, notice the feeling this problem or issue is giving you that you want to change.

When you're ready, move the feeling and problem out of you mind completely and totally focus on your finger tips as they tap and say out loud the following...

  1. Eyebrow - "I release and let it go"
  2. Temple - "I release and let it go"
  3. Cheek - "it's safe to let it go"
  4. Upper Chest - "just let it go"
  5. Wrist - hold one of your wrists or forearm
  6. Take a Deep Breath - - when you exhale, say "peace" out loud
  7. Think of a time when you felt really peaceful

Notice the problem and issue once more...

  • Is it the same?
  • Did it reduce?
  • How did it change?
  • What is the difference?

Either way, repeat the above steps until the feeling has changed to a positive outcome.
