Healthy Nutrition Guide

The fuel that is needed for a healthy mind and body is food and hormones. This Healthy Nutrition Guide coaches you on how to get the best nutrition, where to find it and how to use it.

Below, are areas to seriously look at as we get our health and energy back to where it once was, balancing emotions and hormones and calming the overactive, thinking mind.

Healthy Nutrition Guide

Food is medicine - here is an example to try having meals that are 

  • 50% vegetables - green and non-starchy
  • 20% protein
  • 20% starchy vegetables, beans and rice
  • 10% healthy fats
  • Eat Green, fresh, organic, local
  • Avoid insulin highs and lows

Nutrition serum labs - get your nutrients measured from blood. You can use saliva and urine. We use serum (blood) because it's very accurate and most health insurance companies will pay for it. Once you've got the labs drawn and the results back, see a specialized health practitioner who can read them for you.

Keep a food log - you can use paper and pen, or an app like MyFitnessPal for example, so you can see what your nutrition intake is each meal and each day.

Probiotic - Kashaya Yogurt, fermented foods, Kombucha, MD Prescriptive's Purebiotic.

Enzymes - MD Prescriptive's Probiozyme.

Fermented foods - this is one of the most important areas in the Healthy Nutrition Guide. Eating fermented vegetables are full of natural probiotics for a health gut and mind. Supplements - multi-vitamins, natural herbs, enteric coated omega's, magnesium, aromatherapy, flower essences and more. The main supplements are a multi-vitamin, magnesium, omega-3's and a probiotic. Secondary supplements are adrenal support, DHEA and pregnenolone.

Intermittent fasting - intermittent fasting is a great way to help correct your digestive system imbalances, break unhealthy eating habits and for weight loss.

Best protein foods - included is a list of the best low carb foods for vegetarians on the keto diet.
