Mind Control Your Thoughts

It's a great mindfulness exercise that helps to remove stress and negative thoughts, increase your health and energy, balance emotions and hormones, and calm the overactive mind.

Guided Imagery Script For Mind Control Your Thoughts Technique

  1. start by finding and going to a place where you will be alone and not be disturbed
  2. sit on a chair or on the floor with your back straight. Do not lay down
  3. set a timer for fifteen to thirty minutes
  4. just sit there, being perfectly still
  5. when you are ready, start breathing into your belly
  6. breathe in, belly out
  7. and when you breathe out, gently pull you belly in
  8. keep breathing like this for about one minute or so
  9. now, focus all your awareness on the mind and its thoughts
  10. watch and witness all the thoughts your mind thinks
  11. notice all the thoughts that are competing for your attention
  12. which thoughts do you find your mind more focused on?
  13. now, begin to gently and consistently push away or stop each thought as it appears in your mind
  14. when you find yourself feeding into a thought, just stop and push it away
  15. gently and consistently push away or stop each thought as it appears in your mind
  16. keep doing this exercise until the timer goes off
  17. noticing a thought, pushing it away or stopping its cycle
  18. continue the mind control your thoughts technique for a week or until you find it much easier to just push away or stop each positive or negative thought that comes up
