Mindfulness Meditation Exercises

Meditating for just a few minutes, twice each day, has been proven very beneficial for the health of mind, body and hormones.

Physiological Effects

  • breathing deepens, slows down, becomes quiet and creates a gentle, natural rhythm, all resulting in more oxygen to the body, making it calm and relaxed. (1), (2)
  • muscles release their built-up tension which means less pain. (3), (4)
  • brain become healthier as meditation switches brain-waves that lowers blood pressure and heart rate. (5),(6),(7)
  • studies show that meditation reduces cognitive stress, increasing positive states of mind and balancing hormones,

Psychological Effects
