Train your brain to be ready, calm and relaxed for a known stress that is coming up in the near future.

Benefits Of The Mind Reset And Prepare Technique

  • allows you to watch and witness your mind and be aware what is causing negative, draining thoughts and emotions, such as worry, anxiety, depression, overwhelm and so on
  • stops the draining of energy towards negative thoughts and emotions and changes the mind to energizing, uplifting thoughts, emotions and a positive attitude
  • using the power of your subconscious mind, you can prepare for any known stress that is coming up in the future, resulting in the removal of stress when the event actually happens
  • creates a brighter outlook on life
  • allows you to stay composed whenever you feel stressed
  • boost immune system naturally
  • calms the nervous system
  • you find yourself taking control of your mind and thoughts and not allowing your mind to run your life
  • breaks habitual behaviors and addictions, whilst creating new, healthier habits
  • technique really helps for public speaking, test-taking and more
  • boosting mind health and being present

Visualization And Guided Imagery Script

  1. if it's raining outside, it's better to put your raincoat on before you go outside and not walk outside and put it on in the rain
  2. in the same way, reset and prepare yourself for a known stress coming that's coming up so you are less stressed when it happens
  3. think of a situation or event that is coming up in the future that causes a bit of stress, maybe anxiety or fear, for example
  4. this stressor could be tomorrow, next week or next month
  5. just focus on your breathing as you picture and visualize the stressful even and just notice how you feel.
  6. now, when you are ready, just pretend, in your mind, to go through the stressful issue, and play it out how you want it to go, removing the stress and replacing it with what you want to feel, for example, peace, calmness, happy, confident and strong
  7. when you have done that, tune into yourself and notice how you feel
  8. did the stress reduce a little bit, a lot or not at all?
  9. It doesn't matter right now because you practice this imagination and visualization exercise over and over, 20, 30 ,40, 50 times, until you feel comfortable with the stress level it has reduced to
  10. just know, if you've practiced this technique, over and over, the stressful situation will not be anywhere near as stressful as before
